Classical and electric guitarist, experimental musician, composer and sound artist who ranges from classical to contemporary music, from radical improvisation to avant-rock to her own musical creation that is a crossover between her academic background and the underground electronic scene. In her work, a refined timbre research on augmented guitar, keyboards, electronics, signal processors and sound objects (often built by the instrument maker Andrea Tremolada), build soft atmospheres which tend to explosion with a continuous game between absence and presence.
In 2020 she released her first solo album “The Wharmerall” (Pitch the Noise Records) where she composed and played electric guitar, signal processors, electronics and keyboards. In 2021 "Digital Memories From a Suspended World" was released for Blue Spiral Records. It was the soundtrack of the documentary "Tutte a casa - digital memories from a suspended world” directed by C. D'Eredità, N. Baratta, E. Marino. Both works are enthusiastically received by critics. Since 2019 as composer and interpreter of her project she perform in Milan at Mudec Museum, at Tertulliano Theatre (Smart Guitar Fest by Città Sonora) and at Salotto in Prova; in Brescia (Spettro); in Bergamo (Inascolto); in Piacenza (Incò_ntemporanea); in Berlin.
In 2020 she won the Suoni e Visioni - Unarchive artistic residency at the Archive of the Labor and Democratic Movement in Rome, during which she did the music for "I HAVE FIXED THE FIRE FOREVER" a found footage film by video artist Salvatore Insana. The film was part of 67th Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen (DE), Interface Video Art Festival (HR), Blue Danube Film Festival (Vienna-Budapest), Arquivo em Cartaz - Festival Internacional de Cinema de Arquivo (BR) and was the winner of the Grand Prix at the Kinoscop Festival in Belgrade (SRB) and was among the winners of the Interface Video Art Festival in Zagreb (HR).
As a composer she also was selected for Endecameron 20 Digital Edition with the artistic direction of the artist Francesca Fini. In 2021 she composes the soundtrack for the film documentary “Tutte a casa”, a female project around the female life during the lockdown. The film is broadcast on Italian national televisions. In 2020 she won Electroclasic call by Electroclassic Festival in collaboration with the sound design department of European Institute of Design.
She has worked several times with the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala of Milan playing at the Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Grande of Brescia, Teatro Valli of Reggio Emilia, Teatro Pavarotti of Modena, Opera Theater of Kaliningrad (Russia) and Muscat (Oman), taking part in the Italian premiere of "The Yellow Shark" by Frank Zappa (Verbania, Teatro Il Maggiore).
